About the Tour
This 21 day tour through Japan will showcase the juxtaposition between the country's rich history and it's status as a modern economic power. Students will experience the culture, language and food of this exciting nation.
The trip itinerary is varied and diverse. Students will visit temples and castles built hundreds of years ago, take in the natural beauty of Kyoto and Osaka, feed deer in Nara Park, experience the hustle and bustle of Shibuya Crossing and have the opportunity to wear traditional Kimono. Visits to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, as well as the Edo-Tokyo museum will assist in developing students cultural and historical understanding of the nation. The tour also features a homestay component, providing students with the chance to expand their language skills and see what school in Japan looks like all the while making life-long friendships. |
